The BMW M2 (F87) has one time use bolts in various places such as the strut tower braces. When installing a new coilover kit, the front one time use bolts for the carbon and aluminum braces must be replaced. We offer two options, a hardware only kit and and complete installation kit.
Option 1: Hardware Kit
Replacing the front shock requires removal of the aluminum and carbon brace. BMW specifies that the hardware be replaced. This kit includes all of the "one time use bolts" for both braces.
- (6x) Carbon Brace Bolts (M8x32mm)
- (2x) Carbon Brace Bolts (M8x22mm)
- (2x) Aluminum Brace Bolts (M10x25mm)
- (6x) Aluminum Brace Bolts (M8x32mm)
- (2x) Aluminum Brace Bolts (M10x30mm)
Option 2: Complete Installation Kit
In addition to the one time use bolts on the carbon and aluminum braces, the front and rear shocks have gaskets between the mounts and chassis. These will typically get torn during removal. Other hardware such as the spindle clamp bolts and rear shock bolt may be corroded over time. This kit includes all the items need during a coilover intall.
