3DM is a certified Ohlins automotive service center specializing in DFV dampers. Servicing your suspension is an important part of maintaining its performance and protecting your investment. Oil and wear items in your suspension need replacing, just like your car engine needs an oil change. This way your suspension will continue to perform as designed.
Rebuild Service
Our rebuild service starts out with a tear down and cleaning followed by an inspection of all parts to determine if there are any issues. Items such as pistons, piston rods, and main tubes showing wear beyond tolerance may require a new damper as these parts are not available separately. Once we deem everything to be in proper condition, we then proceed with the rebuild and a test run on the dyno.
Items such as top mount bearings, spring perches and other "external" items are not included in standard rebuild prices. They are billed separately on a case by case basis depending on what is needed. Please note that a rebuild is not the same as a revalve, please see our

Damper and strut rebuilds are only done in pairs. A discount is applied on a full set of four.

MacPherson Strut DFV Chrome Shaft Bushings: (Includes parts and labor)
*Please note, strut guide bushings are not part of a standard rebuild. They are an additional item. Strut guide bushings do not need to be replaced as often as an internal rebuild.
