The Öhlins Road & Track suspension kit for the BMW 3 Series (E9X) is designed to use the OEM mounts. Unless your vehicle has less than 30k miles, you will likely want to install your new suspension kit with fresh new mounts. 3DM has put together a kit with all the necessary parts to be able to put your kit together ahead of time on a bench top making installation to your vehicle easier.

This mounting kit includes the following:
- 2x OEM front upper mount
- 2x OEM front upper mount lower dust cap
- 2x OEM front upper mount upper dust cap
- 2x OEM front upper mount lower support washer
- 1x Pair rear urethane upper mounts*
- 2x Rear upper mount upper support washer
- 2x OEM Rear upper mount lower support washer
- 2x OEM rear lower mount
- 4x OEM rear lower mount bolts
- 2x Rear lower shock pin nut
*We use urethane mounts instead of the original OEM mounts. The OEM rear upper mounts are a porous elastomer material susceptible to the elements and require a boot. Urethane mounts resist the elements well and do not require the original factory boot making install easier. Lastly, the OEM is very weak. The urethane mounts have plenty of compliance to keep NVH to a minimum while allowing the damper to do more of its job controlling the suspension.
Lastly, we do not recommend using a gasket on the front mount as they can "crush" over time and the torque on the nuts can be lost. Make sure the shock tower mating surface is clean before install.
