3DM Suspension Kits: BMW M2 (F87)
3DM utilizes one of two different types of Öhlins damper technologies for all of our suspension kits: (DFV) Monotube Dual Flow Valve or (TTX) Twin Tube Pressure Balanced. For more information of each type, please read below. Once you have determined what damper technology fulfills your needs, contact us to build your own custom kit from a damper set or check out 3DM's pre-built ready to run suspension kits.
Damper Technology Options
(DFV) Monotube Dual Flow Valve: Featuring the patented dual flow valve DFV technology, these dampers are made for enthusiasts who want a damper with simple adjustment yet delivers sharp response and precise control without compromising ride quality. They are ideal for sports cars and track cars that need to perform in a wide range of conditions.
(TTX) Twin Tube Pressure Balanced: Derived from open wheel, GT, and Touring car racing... these dampers are designed for serious drivers who demand racing-grade performance out of their canyon carving, track day, or racing vehicle. The twin-tube pressure balanced technology allows for independent compression and rebound adjustment with no need for a clunky external canister that is prone to leaking. For the most discerning driver and race teams, there are 3 way and 4 way adjustment options including blow off valves in order to further fine-tune your setup for maximum grip and steering precision at the limit.
3DM Suspension Kit Options
DFV Road Sport: Geared more towards the street but still packs punch at the occasional track day.
DFV Track Day: Geared more towards the track but still comfortable enough to drive to a cars and coffee.
