R&T Service — Temporary Parts Shortage & Partial Rebuild Options

Öhlins Road & Track service parts are currently on global backorder with no confirmed restocking date — lead times could range from 2 to 6 months. Rather than ask our customers to wait, 3DM is offering alternative service options to keep your suspension working and your vehicle on the road.

Damper Rebuilds — Partial Seal Service (30% Off)

This applies to all standard Road & Track dampers with a 40mm piston.

In a normal rebuild, the entire seal head assembly is replaced. The seal head contains two components: the piston shaft seal ring and the guide bushing. In roughly 95% of damper failures, it is the seal ring that has worn out — the guide bushing is still in good condition.

Our partial rebuild replaces the failed seal ring while reusing your original seal head and guide bushing. The result is a properly sealed, fully functional damper. This service is offered at 30% off the standard rebuild price.

Strut Guide Bushings — Currently Unavailable

Replacement strut guide bushings are also on backorder. If your struts have worn guide bushings, you may notice a clunking noise — however, the struts will continue to function properly and are safe to use. Once guide bushings are back in stock, we can install them at that time.

We understand that your vehicle needs to be on the road. Without these alternative service options, many of our customers would be left waiting months with no way to repair their suspension. These partial services allow us to get your dampers back in working order now, rather than leaving you sidelined until parts become available.
