      3DM Suspension Kit Options

      At 3DM our expertise is matching Öhlins dampers to components such as adjustable camber plates, shock mounts, and springs to create a suspension kit that bolts up to your vehicle out of the box. 

      We work closely with manufacturers to ensure the parts mate up to the Öhlins dampers correctly, in most cases this requires configurations beyond what can be purchased "over the counter." Spring length, perch stack height, and many other components play a huge role in a suspension that works properly. For example, we've had to custom make something as simple as a washer to ensure an adjustable camber plate worked correctly on a front strut.

      3DM offers two different types of Öhlins damper technologies as a base for our suspension kits:  Monotube Dual Flow Valve (DFV) or Twin Tube Pressure Balanced (TTX). To learn about the technology behind these dampers, see our Resources Menu.

      Our suspension kit options below range from street focused to full on racecars and everything in between.       3DM Suspension Kit Options

       

      DFV Road Sport

      3DM Road Sport kits are for the enthusiast that wants a suspension kit geared more towards the street but still packs a punch at the occasional Track Day or for Canyon Carving. 

      DFV Road & Track Ready to Run (RTR)

      Öhlins Road & Track kits are the perfect setup for both street and track use. However, these kits do not not come assembled and in some cases require the use of your original OE mounts. 3DM takes these kits and pre-assembles them so they are ready to bolt up to your vehicle out of the box per the Öhlins mounting instructions. For the kits that require your original OE mounts, 3DM sources new OE mounts and pre-assembles the kits so that you do not have to disassemble and reuse your old mounts or get delayed by missing parts mid install.

      DFV Track Day

      3DM Track Day kits are for vehicles geared more towards track use but can still be driven on the street to and from the track or to the occasional cars and coffee event. Öhlins DFV dampers are paired with street friendly spring rates and track oriented spherical bearing mounts.

      DFV Motorsport

      DFV Motorsport kits are essentially Track Day kits taken to the next level with Swift race springs and custom valved Öhlins DFV dampers. The single adjustable dampers are perfect for the casual racer who wants minimal clicker adjustments to worry about. 

      TTX GT

      These kits are the highest level of suspension technology for dual purpose street/track vehicles. Öhlins TTX damper technology provides the ultimate in compliance and comfort masking the harshness generated from the use of stiffer that stock spring rates and spherical bearing mounts. The independent compression and rebound adjustability provides the ultimate in tunability between the street and the track.  

      TTX Motorsport

      These kits are the premier suspension kits for Club racing or Pro racing vehicles. They can be upgraded to 3 way or 4 way adjustability along with the addition of blow off valves and high frequency pistons.
