Description
Road Sport is for a car that spends most of its life on the road and sees a track day once or twice a year.
We build it from custom valved Öhlins DFV dampers on Swift springs matched to that valving. DFV — Dual Flow Valve — is a secondary valve that opens on large, fast inputs: a bump, a kerb, an expansion joint. The damper gives way instead of transmitting the hit, while the primary valving carries on controlling body movement. That's what keeps the car compliant on the road without it going soft when you lean on it.
A single clicker on each damper firms it up for a track day and softens it again for the drive home. The dampers are monotube and fully rebuildable — when they're eventually due for a service, they come back to us rather than being replaced.

Option 1: Dampers & Springs Only
Dampers and springs only, supplied without mounts. Fits any F8X M3 or M4 — the mounts are what differ between early and late cars.
Front:
- 1-way adjustable, 20 clicks: primarily rebound, with compression matched
- Independent spring preload and ride height adjustments
- Target ride height: 20mm lower than OE
- Spring Rate: 70 N/mm
Rear:
- 1-way adjustable, 20 clicks: primarily rebound, with compression matched
- Ride height adjustable (Divorced spring)
- Target ride height: 20mm lower than OE
- Spring Rate: 160 N/mm
Option 2: Ready to Run - 3 Bolt front mounts
For M3 and M4 built before January 2015, which use the 3-bolt front top mount. Includes OEM BMW front and rear upper mounts, preassembled and ready to bolt onto the car out of the box. Send us your VIN if you are unsure which mount your car takes.

Every kit is built and assembled to order — not pulled off a shelf. Plan on a minimum of two weeks from order to shipment, and often closer to three.
